Fresno County Chapter
Fresno County Chapter Support Youth Wrestler
March 2017

Front Row:  Rosemary Diaz, Maria Ortiz, Mateo Ruacho and Mrs. Adela Ruacho
Second Row: Principal Ruben Diaz, Joe Ortiz, Ruben Diaz Sr. and Mr. Mateo Ruacho Sr.

Mateo Ruacho has an opportunity to be a National Champion. The opportunity awaits Mateo on April 1 & 2, 2017 at the UNI-Dome University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Mateo's love for the sport of wrestling and hard work has really shown what a special talent he has. Wrestling for his school this year Mateo went undefeated and earned the job of Team Captain and Leader. He became the 2017 District Champion in a second round pin. All the while wrestling for his school he wrestled for Easton Youth Wrestling Club and practiced with Team G in the evenings. All that hard work and two a day practices really showed in the State Championship. On March 18, 2017 Mateo became the California USA State Champion. Winning all his matches by pins.

The support by the NLPOA Fresno County Chapter is appreciated by all involved, specifically Mr. & Mrs. Ruacho and Teachers at Teague Elementary School. The Chapter donated $250 and NLPOA members individually donated over $350 towards Mateo‚Äôs travels to the National Wrestling Tournament.  Go Mateo!
