Noe Longoria has been an NLPOA member for 30 years, retiring as a Sergeant with the San Jose Police Department, California. Noe Longoria was chosen because of his commitment to this organization and to the mission, goals, and objectives of the NLPOA. Noehas exemplified excellent organization and leadership skills as a Member of the NLPOA Santa Clara Chapterand past Chapter President.
Rene Lopez retired after 27 years as a Senior Special investigator for the State of California. He is one of the three Founders of the Sonoma County LPOA and was also awarded honorary membership in the Alameda LPOA chapter.He was appointed as the first Northern California State Chapter Vice President and served until elected to the Board of Directors of the National LPOA as Vice President of operations and Historian.In 2005 He was awarded Lifetime membership in the NLPOA in appreciation for his outstanding commitment and service to the LPOA and for his work as the National LPOA office manager.
Andy Cruz retired after 30 years as a Detective Sergeant with the Sacramento Police Department. Also, for the last 10 years Mr. Cruz has worked as a Sacramento Police Reserve Officer. Mr. Cruz became a member of the National Latino Peace Officer Association in 1993 with the Sacramento Chapter. During his tenure he severed several terms as the Sacramento Chapter President. Additionally, he served on the National Board of Directors as National Historian, National La Puente News Editor and National NLPOA Presdient.
As National President Mr. Cruz was responsible for the development and implementation of the first National "Standard Operating Procedures," that was approved by the National Board, and issued to all NLPOA Chapters.
Finally, Mr. Cruz had the National Logo trademarked then built and operated the first NLPOA National Website
which introduced NLPOA to the Nation.
Mr. Lorenzo Provencio, served many years as National and California State Parliamentarian
He also served as San Diego County Secretary.
